Words Agiled uses
Plain explanations of the words you see around Agiled.
A quick guide to the words you'll see in Agiled and in these docs.
Your business
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Your business in Agiled, with its own clients, team, settings and web address, such as fernwood-studio.agiled.ai. Menus sometimes call it your organization. |
| Module | One area of Agiled, such as CRM, Finance or Scheduling. Turn modules on or off in Settings › Modules. |
| Role | What a teammate can see and do. Set it in Settings › Roles & Permissions. |
| Client portal | A private page where your clients see their documents, invoices, files and next steps. |
Clients and sales
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Contact | A person you work with, in CRM › Contacts. |
| Account | A company, in CRM › Accounts. Contacts can belong to an account. |
| Deal | A piece of work you're trying to win. Deals move through stages, such as Discovery call and Proposal sent, until you win or lose them. |
| Pipeline | The list of stages your deals move through. |
| Form | Questions people fill in on your website or a link, such as an enquiry form. Answers can create a contact automatically. |
Getting paid
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Service | Something you sell, with a name and price, in Services. Add it to an invoice in one click. |
| Estimate | A price you send before the work starts. Your client can accept it, and you can turn it into an invoice. |
| Invoice | A bill your client pays, online or by bank transfer. |
| Recurring invoice | An invoice Agiled sends for you on a schedule, such as monthly. |
| Online payment provider | A service such as Stripe or PayPal that lets clients pay by card. You connect it once. |
| Credit note | A document that reduces what a client owes, for example after a refund. |
Booking and documents
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Booking page | A link clients use to pick a time with you. |
| Event type | One kind of meeting on a booking page, such as a 30-minute discovery call. |
| Availability | The hours clients can book you. |
| Document | A proposal, contract or other file clients can read and sign, in Docs. |
| Smart Flow | One guided page that takes a client through several steps, such as sign, pay and book, in order. |
Work and automation
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Project | All the work for one client job, with its tasks, files and time. |
| Task | One thing someone needs to do, with an owner and a due date. |
| Workflow | An automation: when something happens (the starting point), Agiled does the next steps for you. |
| Agiled AI | The built-in assistant. Chat answers questions, Work takes on jobs for you to review, and Workers are AI helpers you set up once and reuse. |
